Sri
Godha Devi, also
known as Andal, is
an avatar of Sri
Bhooma Devi (Mother
earth). Sri Godha
Devi, was found by
Vishnuchittar,
popularly known as
Periazhvar, in his
garden under the
Tulsi plant. Because
of her patience, and
utmost benevolence
towards all living
beings on earth, she
taught us the most
easiest way to
perform bhakti to
Lord Krishna and
attain salvation �
always sing glories
of the Lord, always
keep Him in your
conscience, always
offer flowers to His
lotus feet. She is
considered as one of
the 12 Azhvars and
her composition
includes Thiruppavai
and Natchiyar
Thirumozhi.

Gurukulam
Admissions
S.V.Temple Gurukulam school started in
1999. This is one of the oldest Sunday
schools in the Triangle area where the
culture and traditions of the Indian
subcontinent are taught for the coming
generations to grow and imbibe the age
old traditions, values and wisdom.
As the community got attracted to this
effort, it has grown quickly in the
subsequent years. Every year new
services are being added, curriculum
being reviewed and upgraded, teachers
are being well equipped with teaching
materials. Age appropriate mythological
stories, arts, music, yoga and several
other activities are being taught
to our students.
The donation for the admission for the
academic year is $150. A copy of
completed Liability Form for each
student along with donation are required
on or before the first day of class. We
want all your children to have an
enriching experience and with your
assistance we can make it a truly
enjoyable one for all. Gurukulam
inaugural pooja will be on SEPTEMBER
12th, 2020. We will send a confirmation
notice with your seat assignment once
the enrollment process is complete.
